"Rain will be good for her leg, she needs some fresh water on that cut. I'll find some herbs to put on in case it's infected, and Rushingpaw; could you get that codswallop? She needs a strong bandage."

"Minnowtail, you are a fantastc medicine cat but seriously. you know better. we live by an ocean. If there was going to be a shower, then I would let you stey out. but this isnt a shower. this is a full blown storm. with the rain, and the ocean, we could all get struck by lightning. Remember what happened before right?"

Rushingpaw's eyes widened. he had heard the tale about when Shellstar's mate had ran out to the ocean to rescue a kit. they had both been struck by lightning. He decided to change the topic. "Minnowtail! I feel a pulse!"

Minnowtail twitched her tail. "I'll leave some moss out there to ge wet, then."

" i'll get some" offered rushingpaw, desperate to change the subject.

Minnowtail was worried. She tried to concentrate on her job, but Seakit's lifeless body failed her.

"What can I do to help, Minnowtail?" Moonpaw mewed at her.

(I just realized that Moonpaw is suppose to be a guy...O.o)

"Look for thick green herbs, please."

" here is the moss" said rushingpaw. "I brought some Goldenrod and stinging nettle"

"Kay Kay!!" Moonpaw said and went around camp, looking for herbs.

goldenrod=good healing poultices.
Stinging nettle=brings down swelling.

Moonpaw skipped over to the edge of the camp. Thick green leaves! She pulled them out expertly and then hummed and skipped her way back to Minnowtail. She looked down at her friend.

(And now Moonpaw is....a girl!)

"Okay..." Minnowtail squeezed the herb and a thick green juice came out.

Moonpaw looked one look at it. "What does it do?" she asked Minnowtail.

"It stops infection."

"Oh," Moonpaw said shortly.

Minnowtail rubbed on the juice.
