The SwiftClan Camp

As they neared Adderplace, the adders had begun to scent the cats. They nipped at their heels, Clawtalon grabbing them all in her elderly but powerful jaws and flinging them away. "There are bigger adders, cat-sized, in the base," Clawtalon muttered, "There we can have fun, and you can show me your battle-skills."

Bloodbath's red eyes light up a fiery crimson as he heard the word "battle". He unsheathed his claws, feeling releived at having them in the position he liked once again. As they leapt from rock to rock, batting and throwing away the adders that crossed their path, his claws made a barely audible, but wonderful snick-ing noise. "I hope your precious adders are swifter than a cat" he said in an excited, thirsty voice "At least then they'd be a bit of a challenge."

"The adders are rather fast." Clawtalon replied, "but not fast enough for us."

Bloodbath rolled his eyes. "Then this'll be all too easy." he sighed, leaping over a trench filled with hungry, snapping fanged jaws.

Clawtalon turned back to the trench. She clawed one of the faces, and a huge water snake emerged. "Yikes!" Clawtalon muttered. "If you want to, you can fight that!"

Spinning around and coming back to the trench, Bloodbath leaned in to see what she was yowling about. He began to laugh impishly, and quickly ducked to the side as the snake lurched at him. "You're on!" he growled, then as the snake sprung at him again, his front claws grasped it and flung it furhter up the rocks, to a flat slab of granite that dropped a good 12 cat-lengths on one side. It hissed as it flew through the air, and he hissed right back, following it in a leap. When they both landed, the snake lunged towards him with poisonous fangs waiting to meet his flesh. He was gone in a flash, and the snake hissed again as it received a gash in its side.

Clawtalon snarled and clawed the snake on the side, and then swerved around the clawed it on the neck.

Within a few more easy stripes, Bloodbath was already bored. So, after one last dodge of the snake's poisonous head, he lunged in and grasped the snake's neck with his own fangs, lock-jawing as the thing writhed on the ground. It tried several times to squeez the life out of him or to grab Clawtalon's paw, but it died before it could do any damage. With a bored, but smug-sounding grunt, bloodbath spat the snake out over the ledge, not bothering to stay around and watch it hit the bottom. "Well, that was fun! Got anything better, though?"

Clawtalon paused, and sighed. "Catch a piece of prey. Keep it bloody. Walk under adderplace. More than a thousand adders will attack you."

Bloodbath sat rimrod-straight, then put his right paw to his forhead, eyes gleaming in a mock salute. "Yes, Ma'am!" he snickered, then leapt off the cliff, landing at the bottom and bounding into the nearby trees. He didn't go far until He found a large mouse. He pounced, and bit into it, picking it up with it still squealing and alive and bleeding, and raced back to Adderplace. As he hit the fringe, he took long, boundgin leaps back up to the clifftop, leading the hungry snakes back up to where he'd left Clawtalon. Placeing the squirming morsel on the ground, he grinned. "Oops, my bad. I guess I forgot you were here. Now I suppose I've put you in grave danger along with me." He chuckled, morbidly, as the first of the snakes drew closer. "Ready for the challenge, old cat?"

Clawtalon's eyes neared into slits. Every adder was there. There were approximetley five hundred of them, and they was a stream of patterned scales. "Ready."

He chuckled again. "Good." he hissed, then without warning, swiped his far-too-big clawed paw at her head. As she ducked in surprise, his claws hooked into the snake that had tried to strike her head. He flung it to the ground, then finished off its head. Hissing with elation, he spun and batted away the first three snakes to try to get him. Now THIS is a fight!

Clawtalon snarled and picked up the tails of two snakes. She flung them around and let go, flinging them to die and suffocate another adder.

Bloodbath cackled as he dodged and killed snake after snake, his small, matted body always a moment too quick for the next snake. If he tired, he never showed it, pushing and pushing himself to keep up the excitement, and to keep alive.
He reached over and snagged yet another snake that got past Clawtalon's equally quick defenses.

Clawtalon clawed adders everywhere, and this was fun, just a vacation for them. She clawed them and lost memory of everything, just the battle... she felt so yet alive...

"May i join you?" Wildstorm asked, galloping behind them. He never even waited for an answer, a hint of excitment beamed in his green eyes. He sent the adders flying with his huge dark grey paws. Shaking some in his sharp teeth.

Yelping, Clawtalon snarled, "These are adders, you young warrior, not mouse chew-toys!" As she flung the adders out of Wildstorm's grasp and looked at him. "Go battle-train with Brightstar or do something more warrior-like!" she snarled.

Wildstorm chuckeld, "YES sir" he laughed at his lame joke. HI silently drifted away, his laughing echoing.

Brightstar suddenly spotted Wildstorm. "Wilddddstorm!" She muttered. "I have a misison for you!"

Wildstorm stoped and turned. "YESSSSSSSSSSS?" He asked. His tail flickered impatiently. His green eyes pushed away the excitment to curiousity..

He reapeated, "YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS???" His tail was flickering widly. Hurry up please- her voice box is acting like a slug- grrrrr- will she spit it out or not- or am i here just because she wants to waste my time! his thoughts zoomed into his head. He stared into her green eyes impatiently.

"Go spy on MoonClan. See what Twigstar's up to."

"Yes- but- errr- whats the consequenses if i get caught??" Wildstorm voice jumped to a higher octave.
Awesome! Spying on MoonClan!!!!!! WIldstorm half- smiled

"Then just yowl as loud as possible and try to talk it out. if Twigstar just isn't in the mood for talking, then fight. then our clan shall run there as soon as possible"

"okey- dockey!!! Always at your services," he said and ran off.
