Misticpets has changed...to the dark side.

Some of yaz looked into it, I know for a fact. But perhaps it didn't interest you before.
Well, if it didn't interest you because it was too fruity or the like.....check it out again.
Because, for one thing, its changed. Pet wise. I mean, what the!?!
Let me show you what I mean.


Here's before.
Mistica's pets can be changed into special themes via rare "boxes", and all of them were either cute, majestic, or just plain awesome.

The names to these boxes were basic, and these are only examples. Storm Box, Oceanic Box, Overgrown Box, Zodiac Box, and Baby Box.

The following pictures are quite creepy, and in cases gory. Dead serious. The names of these boxes are rightly dubbed. If the name of the box makes you unsure, do not open it. Again, these are creepy. I'd hate to make you afraid to go to sleep.

Btw, you who join and are planning on staying may want to bookmark that site. I find it quite useul after a while.

Second note, if you do join, do not expext to see these creatures for a long time. It takes a very rare and special thing called a Pandoria Box to make your pet look like these. There is currently a converter that will take the Mistic Coins you earn playing games and convert them into the special credits it takes to buy these boxes. Also there are random giveaways every so often. Good hunting!

i never joined but i cant see the pics and the link brings me to homepage and i tried to join a millions of times but it kept saying INVAILED CODE when i did it right all i see is that weird poor wolf.. very odd just one look at that pic and my thought of that web has changed. I thought it was a cute fuzzy wuzzy web. i wont get nightmares of the wolf. Ive seen far worse on movies.. but i never expected this website to go to the dark side... i have to admit its pretty cool..

Oh, cool! The first few boxes weren't too bad, but the last one was really unexpected O_o Its not exactly something that I'd put on a website that most likely has young members. xD

The nightmare...eh, maybe. The phantom, I've got my sights on that Jinx. And Lanturn? That Jinx and Haruba are sooooo mine!

I've currently only got one boxed pet. It was the Storm Ahbruis - the purpleish wolf at the top with a glowing orb in its mouth and is facing you front-on with a mischeivous grin. I got one! Via winning that Poetry Contest a while back.

The funniest hing about the Apocolyptic Box is that Misticpets has very explicit and expressed rules about gore and violence. You cannot have it in your profile, you cannot have it in your siggie, and you especially can't have it in the forums.
And yet.....this?!


For example, remember this? I got into trouble for having it on my siggie. For graphic violence or suggestive violence or something or other.





Funnily enough, they've made a brand-new pet called the Kratork. It looks alligatorish, but is standing, and has an orb at the end of a very long tail. And spikes along its back. I've been dreaming and dreaming of the Apocolyptic Kratork now for ages. I finally put my dream to paper----er, Paint - and posted it as a suggestion on the forums, forgetting the rule. The topic got deleted.

Isn't he just delightfully horrible? He would SOOO be mine if they released him. But, alas, that's doubtfully going to happen for a long time.

Compare and contrast the Baby box and the Apocalyptic box. Sheesh, what a difference. I would never known that the same adoptable site made both of these.

It was a shocker to us all when they were released. It was on a Friday 13th, and they released four of them at a time via a link on the news. As soon as I opened that link, I literally yelped and banged my knee on the desk, it scared me so bad. When I later showed it to a friend at her house (she'd shown me the site, and still goes on it every so often), she screamed and fell out of her chair. (she's naturally dramatic. Not on purpose. She just overreacts sometimes.)

This isn't normal, but boy oh boy, do I want one sooo bad!

The pets r so cool i wouldve expected them to be cute and cuddly. The last one is the worst and the most frightening for lil kids. (LIKE ME JK)
